Elektrine resolvers read these lists from here instead of from upstream curators. import.sh is the only step that contacts upstream; it normalizes every source into one domain-per-line format and keeps the current copy when a download fails or a list shrinks sharply. |

Elektrine DNS lists
The blocklists Elektrine's DNS filter serves, in one format. Elektrine resolvers read only this repository, so they never depend on upstream curators being reachable, keeping their URLs, or keeping their formats.
Format
lists/<id>.txt holds one lowercase domain per line, sorted and unique. A
listed domain also blocks its subdomains. Lines starting with # are a short
provenance header (source, license, domain count). The id matches the list id
in Elektrine's filter catalog.
Updating
Upstream curators are contacted only when someone runs the importer:
./import.sh # every list in sources.tsv
./import.sh hagezi-pro # one list
git diff --stat lists/ # review the changes before committing
The importer normalizes hosts files, Adblock ||domain^ rules, *.domain
wildcards, and plain domain lists into the format above, using the same
hostname rules as the resolver. A list whose download fails, or that shrinks
below half its current size, keeps its current copy and is reported.
Commit and push, and resolvers pick the new copy up on their next sync.
Sources live in sources.tsv; add a row to import a new list.
